After 6-Year Slumber, Warped Tour Awakens In 2025 For Tri-City Celebration

The Vans Warped Tour will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2025 with three two-day festivals. Between 70 and 100 bands will take the stage at Warped events coming to Washington D.C.’s Festival Grounds at RFK Campus on June 14 and 15, Downtown Long Beach Shoreline Waterfront in Long Beach, California on July 26 and 27 and Orlando’s Camping World Stadium Campus on November 15 and 16.

First held in 1995, the Warped Tour was a traveling music festival that brought acts from various genres to cities across North America each summer through 2019. Blink-182, Katy Perry, Fall Out Boy, NOFX, Green Day, The Used, Paramore, Good Charlotte, Sum 41, Machine Gun Kelly, The Black Eyed Peas, My Chemical Romance, Neck Deep and Pierce The Veil are among hundreds of artists that are Warped alums.

Lineups for the 2025 festivals will be announced soon. “The return of Vans Warped Tour will combine beloved festival favorites from the last 30 years of Warped Tour as well as a diverse lineup of newer acts,” according to a press release.

“People are craving connection, live music, and the raw, unfiltered experience that Warped has always offered. We’ve seen how music continues to unite and inspire, and this return isn’t just about nostalgia—it’s about giving a new generation the chance to feel that same sense of belonging and freedom that Warped has always championed,” noted Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman.

While past installments have been lengthy affairs, Lyman and new partners Insomniac have decided to keep the 2025 installment to three cities. “My body won’t take riding around on a tour bus for 40 cities,” Kevin Lyman told Rolling Stone and added, “If it works, we’ll look to the future to do more.”
