WAR Rolls Out Initial The World Is A Ghetto 50th Anniversary Tour Dates

Legendary funk and soul band WAR announced initial 2024 tour dates to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their album, The World Is a Ghetto. The tour coinciding with this year’s reissue of the landmark LP gets underway in March.

WAR will kick off the celebratory trek on March 8 at the Isleta Casino in Albuquerque. An engagement in Chandler, Arizona follows.

The band will then set sail on the 70’s Rock & Romance Cruise taking place March 14 – 17. Next, WAR will deliver two Florida concerts in Orlando and Immokalee.

The band resumes the run on April 20 in Visalia, California before returning to the Sunshine State for a show in Dania Beach, Florida. WAR will hit New Orleans on April 28.

Next, the funk and soul band is back in California for a pair of shows at the Los Angeles County Fair and the San Mateo County Fair on May 3 and June 2 respectively. An appearance at Sparks, Nevada’s Hot August Nights goes down on August 7.

On August 30 the band will be back in their native Southern California for an appearance at the Fool In Love Festival in Los Angeles on August 31. The last engagement WAR has on the books so far is on Mexico’s Super Legends Cruise September 13 – 16 with more dates TBA.
