Vulfpeck’s Theo Katzman Covers Billy Joel For ‘Live From Home’

Theo Katzman of Vulfpeck recorded a cover of Billy Joel‘s “And So It Goes” for Live From Home. The Live From Home video series features performances at safe spaces for Live From Here With Chris Thile’s YouTube channel.

Katzman was raised in Manhasset, New York on Long Island which is a 20-minute drive from the town where Billy Joel grew up — Hicksville. Billy Joel originally released “And So It Goes” as the final track on his 1989 studio album, Storm Front. Theo performed the song with just his voice and a piano in similar fashion Billy Joel’s 1983 demo found on the 2005 box set My Lives.
