Vulfpeck Shares ‘Mr. Finish Line’ Single ‘Hero Town’ Featuring Michael Bland

On November 7 Michigan funk act Vulfpeck will release their latest studio album, Mr. Finish Line. Today, the band has issued the latest single off the guest-filled LP – “Hero Town.”

Vulfpeck recruited acclaimed drummer Michael Bland to get behind the kit for “Hero Town,” a smoking instrumental track. Bland is best known for his long tenure in Prince’s New Power Generation during which time he contributed to such hits as “Cream” and “Diamonds & Pearls.” In the video below we see the group and their guest lay down a spot-on take in the studio before they celebrate what they had just accomplished.
