Vulfpeck’s Jack Stratton Mashes Bernard Purdie & Cory Henry Performances

Jack Stratton of Vulfpeck continued a series of video mashups today by unveiling a clip mixing together performances by legendary drummer Bernard Purdie and Snarky Puppy keyboardist Cory Henry. The two performances fit together so perfectly it’s hard to believe they weren’t recorded at the same time, yet the Purdie footage was culled from the 2006 instructional/live performance DVD KoSA Eleven/Live 2006 while the Henry footage comes from last year’s The Revival Project.

We’re glad to see Stratton has continued the mashup video series after a long layoff. The clips are posted to Vulfpeck’s YouTube channel under the VULF TWO heading and here’s hoping we don’t have to wait as long for the next one. Check out the Bernard Purdie/Cory Henry mashup:
