Vince Herman and Sam Grisman will team up for a series of four special duo shows spanning January 22 – 25, 2025. The duo’s Northeast Fun Run features concerts in New York, Massachusetts and Maine.

The Leftover Salmon guitarist and Sam Grisman Project's namesake bassist will deliver “a heartfelt thoughtfully curated evening of music paying tribute to the legacy of Sam’s father David ‘Dawg’ Grisman, Jerry Garcia, John Kahn, John Hartford and many more” at each stop according to a social media post heralding the run.

“For as long as I can remember I’ve been encountering the great Vince Herman out in the wild with Leftover Salmon. I grew up going to festivals with my pop David Grisman, and we would always have a great time playing music and spending time with Vinny anytime we crossed paths,” wrote Sam Grisman. “He’s always been someone who I’ve looked up to as a positive force in our music scene and like me, he’s always game for some good tunes. Vince and I are looking forward to pairing up and picking and puffing our way through some of our favorite songs for all of you fine north-easterners for these special intimate duo shows.”

Vince Herman and Sam Grisman will launch the run on January 22 at New York City’s Sony Hall. The duo will then perform at Troy Music Hall in Troy, New York on January 23. Boston’s City Winery hosts the pair on January 24 before Herman and Grisman conclude the excursion on January 25 at The Waldo Theatre in Waldoboro, Maine.
