Videos: Two Nights Of Weir And Chimenti At Warren’s Garcia Symphonic Celebration

The Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration tour featuring Warren Haynes finished a two-night stand at Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco last night. Garcia’s old band mate Bob Weir showed up with Furthur keyboardist Jeff Chimenti for the end of the second set and a pair of extra encores just as they did on Thursday night. This time around Weir and Chimenti sat in on “West L.A Fadeaway,” “Days Between” and “Shakedown Street” at the end of the closing stanza as well as the “China Cat Sunflower,” “Casey Jones” and “China Doll” parts of the encore.

We’ve assembled a collection of our favorite fan-shot videos from the two nights in San Francisco:

Before we move on to the songs with Jeff and Bobby, we love the version of “Terrapin Station” the ensemble presented:

Weir and Chimenti guested with Warren, the house band and the Symphony on this stunning “China Doll” which thankfully features the best video quality of the clips we’ve come across:

Bobby and Warren share vocals on “West L.A. Fadeaway”:

Watch Weir and Chimenti help out on “Stella Blue”:

This clip of “Days Between” was shot at the back of the venue which gives you a good look at the size of the ensemble:

Finally, here’s an extreme side-view of “Shakedown Street” and “China Cat Sunflower” from Thursday night:
