Heading into last weekend’s Lockn’ Festival the pairing of music legend John Fogerty and jam titans Widespread Panic was one of the more anticipated performances of the inaugural event. Fogerty emerged 13 songs into Panic’s Saturday night set at Oak Ridge Farm and led the Georgia-based band through six Creedence Clearwater Revival classics and a tune off his recently released Wrote A Song For Everyone album.

back in June and Schools was particularly excited to play “Keep On Chooglin'” with Fogerty, “I’ll play whatever he wants, as long as we get to do ‘Run Through the Jungle’ and ‘Keep On Chooglin’ and draw ‘em out 10 minutes.” Well, “Keep On Chooglin'” didn’t quite reach the 10 minute mark, but the combo did turn in a fine version:
