As reported, an all-star lineup came together at Carnegie Hall in New York City last Wednesday for a tribute to Led Zeppelin. The benefit concert was the 15th annual The Music Of performance put together by impresario Michael Dorf. Supergroup Bustle In Your Hedgerow took the stage for the first time since 2016 as part of the concert for their own performance and to back vocalist Nicole Atkins. Video of both songs Bustle played can be viewed below.

Bustle In Your Hedgerow features drummer Joe Russo, guitarist Scott Metzger, bassist Dave Dreiwitz and keyboardist Marco Benevento. The Led Zeppelin tribute act first performed together in 2003 for a 30th birthday party cruise for Rocks Off founder Jake Szufnarowski.

The quartet took the Carnegie Hall stage about halfway through the March 8th concert. Joe, Marco, Dave and Scott chose “We’re Gonna Groove” as their selection for the benefit. Led Zeppelin opened with the James Bethea and Ben E. King-penned song during their 1970 tours of the U.K. and Europe. Robert Plant, John Bonham, John Paul Jones and Jimmy Page released a live version of the song featuring overdubs on Coda, a 1982 album of unused tracks from throughout Led Zeppelin’s career.

Nicole Atkins, who has performed in various configurations with the members of Bustle, then joined the group for a gorgeous rendition of “The Rain Song.” Atkins discussed how special the performance was to her in an Instagram post, “Tonight was the best night I’ve ever had in my life. I got to sing ‘The Rain Song’ at Carnegie Hall backed up by some of my best friends. I got a standing ovation and ran back to my dressing room to cry. That song is why I got into music in a way that’s now made it my whole world.”

Led Zeppelin recorded “The Rain Song,” which was written by Jimmy Page and Robert Plant, for inclusion on their 1973 album Houses Of The Holy. Monica Hampton also captured footage of Atkins teaming with Bustle In Your Hedgerow on “The Rain Song”:
