PBS’s long-running evening news program, NewsHour, will broadcast a feature on Phish front man Trey Anastasio this evening. The broadcast comes on the eve of Phish starting their summer tour, and 30th year since forming in 1983, at Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor, ME.
While most markets run NewsHour at 7 p.m. local time, the program airs online between 6 and 7.

PBS also shared an article on “The Culture Of Phish” which you can view here.
JamBase will feature wall-to-wall Phish coverage this summer, as we’ll be the home of Scotty B’s The Skinny musical and statistical recaps for each show the band plays starting with Wednesday’s tour opener.
