Eccentric rock guitarist Mac DeMarco will issue a new mini-LP Another One via Captured Tracks on August 7. The follow-up to last year’s Salad Days, the mini-LP features eight songs recorded entirely by DeMarco at his home studio in Far Rockaway, Queens. A second of the eight songs on Another One, the title track “Another One,” has been made available in a video released today.
The title track premiered at The Fader, with Mac sending the outlet this note regarding the song:
Hi it’s Mac D. Here’s a love song off my new mini-LP of love songs for you to listen. Sometimes kidding around can change a heart. Be careful! A heart always wants what a heart can’t have. Find what you love and hold it close! Knock knock.
