Video | Joel Cummins, Jason Hann & Marcus Rezak – Glory

Umphrey’s McGee keyboardist Joel Cummins hosted a Similar Skin release party at Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach, CA on Tuesday night. Cummins introduced his band’s new LP and then performed with members of String Cheese Incident, Digital Tape Machine and Lettuce according to a report from Shakedown Music.

Cummins kicked off the performance with a solo version of “Orfeo” and then welcomed SCI percussionist Jason Hann and Digital Tape Machine guitarist Marcus Rezak up for takes on UM originals “Glory” and “Booth Love.” Later in the evening Lettuce bassist Jesus Coomes and his drummer brother Tyler joined in on a few jams, one of which Rezak describes at “D’Angelo Jam.”
