Last night marked the first of three “The Simpsons Take The Bowl” concerts at the Hollywood Bowl in honor of The Simpsons’ 25th anniversary. The show featured a number of the voice actors from the show, along with special guests such as Conan O’Brien and “Weird Al” Yankovic, performing some of the most memorable songs from The Simpsons backed by The Los Angeles Philharmonic as well as behind-the-scenes stories from creator Matt Groening.

One of the key moments of the evening came when Conan O’Brien came out to lead The Simpsons voice actor Hank Azaria and the Gay Men’s Chorus Of Los Angeles through a rendition of “The Monorail Song” from the unforgettable “Marge Vs. the Monorail” episode, which O’Brien actually wrote back in the day. Conan mentioned how people still ask him about the monorail and talked about how important the late Phil Hartman was to the episode and the show.
