Video & Audio: Vinnie Amico Performs With Grateful Jam In Boca Raton

South Floridian Deadheads enjoyed a special treat on Wednesday night when drummer Vinnie Amico of moe. sat-in with Grateful Jam, a local Grateful Dead cover band that includes members of The Heavy Pets, Crazy Fingers and Unlimited Devotion at The Funky Biscuit in Boca Raton, Florida. Grateful Jam features Crazy Fingers guitarist/vocalist Rich Friedman, Jim Wuest (The Heavy Pets) on keyboards and vocals, Jamie Newitt (The Heavy Pets) on drums, Jarrett Aaronson on bass and Al Zilinksy (Unlimited Devotion) on guitar.

After augmenting the band at the end of the first set for “Deal,” Vinnie returned to the stage and played a good portion of the second set. Vinnie added to a number of songs including “Althea” and a sequence connecting “Playing In The Band,” “Sunshine Of Your Love” and “Midnight Moonlight.”
