Umphrey’s McGee To Return To Atlanta For New Year’s

At Umphrey’s McGee’s last Bonnaroo appearance in 2012, the band revealed they would celebrate New Year’s that year at The Tabernacle in Atlanta. Once again UM has used the fest to announce a New Year’s run in Atlanta, as an ad in the Bonnaroo Beacon notes that the group will return to The Tabernacle for five nights at the end of 2014 and beginning of 2015.

The run is set to begin on December 30 and continues with performances on New Year’s Eve, January 1, January 2 and January 3 -which marks the first five-night NYE run in the band’s history. Later today Umphrey’s will perform at Bonnaroo for a set that will be broadcast live via webcast at 3:30 p.m. CT. More details of UM’s New Year’s run will be announced soon.
