While Phish plans to focus on originals this summer, Umphrey’s McGee will go the other route to provide a “gateway drug” to potential new fans attending one of their upcoming performances at Brooklyn Bowl London.

UM is set to perform at the London outpost of the Bowl for three nights between June 19 and 21. On the 20th, the band will present a covers-only set at the venue. The Chicago rockers have also revealed Godsticks will open for them on the 19th, while the Syd Arthur Band lend support on the final two nights of the run. Tickets for the shows are available via AXS UK.

In other Umphrey’s news, Colorado fans will celebrate the release of Similar Skin with a pair of listening parties on Monday night. One will take place at The 1UP-Colfax in Denver, where there will be giveaways for a signed copy of the album and tickets to see the band at Red Rocks. Another will be held at Shine in Boulder starting at 8 p.m. featuring raffles for tickets to UM’s sold out show in Boulder and a signed copy of the album. Copies of Similar Skin will be available for purchase at both parties.
