Chicago’s Umphrey’s McGee is the latest band to give their stamp of approval to a micro-brew, as the sextet has teamed with Rock Brothers Brewing Company, Cigar City Brewing & Boulder Beer Co. to create Nothing Too Fancy Pale Ale. The new beer was first announced back in January and now the band has revealed when fans can get their initial taste of Nothing Too Fancy Pale Ale.

Umphrey’s has announced they will be pouring their brand new beer for the very first time during the Golden Ticket event at Summer Camp Music Festival in Chillicothe, Illinois on the Friday afternoon of Memorial Day weekend between 3 and 5 p.m. Samples will be available and pints will be up for sale at the event.

According to the original announcement, “the ale will be smooth and easy on the surface, yet complex and layered at its core.”
