Three of the four shows will now take place in April 2023.

Umphrey’s McGee postponed a four-show Southeast run that was previously slated to begin tonight due to “concerns over flooding, road closures, downed power lines/outages and overall safety from venue owners, promoters and UM” in the wake of Hurricane/Tropical Storm Ian. The band canceled one of the concerts outright and will now play the three others in April of 2023.

Without “an immediate viable reschedule date,” the show originally scheduled for tonight (Thursday, September 29) at Maymont Park in Richmond, Virginia has been canceled. Tomorrow’s (Friday, September 30) concert at Greenfield Lake Amphitheater in Wilmington, North Carolina will now take place on April 28, 2023 as the heavy rainfall expected has made the opportunity for the outdoor show untenable.

Umphrey’s McGee aims to announce a new date for Saturday’s show at Johnny Mercer Theater in Savannah, Georgia later today. The venue has been turned into a government evacuation shelter to provide safe haven for residents. Finally, the closing performance of the brief trek originally scheduled to be held at Avondale Brewing Company in Birmingham, Alabama has been rescheduled for April 30, 2023.

Refunds for the Richmond show will be issued through the original point of purchase. Tickets for the other three concerts will be honored on the new dates.
