On New Year’s Day Umphrey’s McGee held a special “Reel To Real” event at The Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, during which they premiered their self-produced archival documentary film Reel To Real. Today the band has announced the Chicago premiere of Reel To Real, which will take place at The Vic Theatre on April 3.
The Chicago premiere of Reel To Real will be followed by a Q&A with director Jefferson Waful, creator Kevin Browning and UM guitarist Brendan Bayliss. Bayliss, Waful and Browning will take audience questions about their youthful days on the road, the origins of the film and other topics. Tickets for the premiere go on sale Friday, March 18 at 10 a.m. CT via Brown Paper Tickets.
