Umphrey’s McGee Performs ‘Push & Pull’ For SiriusXM

Umphrey’s McGee visited SiriusXM’s New York City studios during their recent trip to the Big Apple for a three-night stand at Brooklyn Steel. As reported, the band recorded an installment of Jam Files for SiriusXM’s Jam On channel that has been airing all week. SiriusXM shared the version of “Push & Pull” the sextet laid down at the satellite radio service’s offices.
Brendan Bayliss wrote “Push & Pull” ahead of the sessions that yielded 2018’s it’s not us and it’s you. “I think maybe it was the week leading up to it that I started combing through old songs of mine just to see if there was something I forgot about or something that might just hit at the minute. And I stumbled across that one and I thought it was good enough that maybe it had a shot,” Bayliss told Relix about the song that wound up on it’s you. Umphrey’s debuted the live version at last year’s Summer Camp Music Festival. Watch the take they performed for SiriusXM:
