On Thursday, Umphrey’s McGee returns to Indiana, the state that birthed the band ahead of shows in Detroit on Friday and Saturday. Webcasts of all three shows are available. In addition, UM shared pro-shot video of a horn-driven and exploratory “Bad Friday” from this past Friday night at Brooklyn Steel in New York City.

Umphrey’s McGee has teamed with TourGigs to provide fans with live webcasts of all three upcoming shows. The webcasts can be purchased individually or as a discounted bundle. All three concerts can be viewed for up to two weeks after the shows.

This past Friday’s performance in Brooklyn saw the sextet joined by a horn section of Mike Maher (Snarky Puppy) on trumpet, Chris Ott (Huntertones) on trombone and Dan White (Huntertones) on tenor saxophone. Maher, Ott and White emerged at the end of the first set for a cover of INXS’ “What You Need” and returned during the second set for a take on Little Feat’s “Fat Man In The Bathtub” and the original “Bad Friday.” Umphrey’s took “Bad Friday” deep, providing a dance party for Umphreaks.
