Umphrey’s McGee Expands Summer Tour 2017

Jam act Umphrey’s McGee has announced a fresh batch of Summer 2017 dates including one of their biggest hometown shows yet. The band will play Northerly Island in Chicago on July 21 and that is just one of seven dates revealed today.

After the hometown show, UM will play The Lawn at White River State Park in Indianapolis on July 22. Pigeons Playing Ping Pong are aboard as support for both the Chicago and Indianapolis dates. UM continues the tour at Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh on August 11 with Aqueous set to open. The sextet then heads down south for three shows featuring White Denim as support in Birmingham on August 17, Atlanta on August 18 and Nashville on August 19. One night later, Umphrey’s will return to the Tennessee Theatre in Knoxville.

Pre-sale tickets will go up for grabs through Umphrey’s Ticketing starting Wednesday, April 12 at 10 a.m. CT with public on-sales set to begin Friday, April 14 at 10 a.m. CT.
