Umphrey’s McGee Announces Summer Tour

Chicago sextet Umphrey’s McGee have detailed this year’s Summer Tour. The run includes dates spread out throughout the summer and across the country featuring support on select dates from The Werks, The Main Squeeze, Brownout Presents Brown Sabbath and others.
Umphrey’s McGee will mix festival appearances, headlining dates and “An Evening With” performances. The season starts for UM with an appearance at Mountain Jam on June 2 followed by a show at Rapids Theatre in Niagara Falls, New York on June 3 and a set at this year’s Bunbury Music Festival on June 4. The band heads to Chattanooga’s Riverbend Festival on June 16 ahead of performances in Des Moines on June 29 and at Milwaukee’s Summerfest on June 30.
July starts with the band’s annual visit to Red Rocks which this year spans two nights – July 2 and 3. UM then teams with The Werks for shows in Birmingham on July 7, Myrtle Beach on July 8 and Charlotte on July 9. The tour resumes with The Main Squeeze aboard as support for performances in Baltimore on July 15, Asbury Park on July 17 and Kansas City on August 3. Umphrey’s busy August also includes concerts in Indianapolis, Louisville, Burlington, Boston, Scranton, Syracuse, Memphis and Knoxville before the band is currently set to conclude the tour at this year’s Lockn’ Festival in Arrington, Virginia.
Pre-sale and umVIP package on-sales begins Monday, March 28 at 11:00 a.m. ET. Tickets go on sale to the general public starting Friday, April 1 at 11 a.m. ET.
