Umphrey’s McGee Announces ‘Hall Of Fame: Class Of 2014’

Umphrey’s McGee have announced details of this year’s Hall Of Fame release. The annual compilation features highlights from the previous year as voted on by fans presented as if it were a two set show complete with an encore. Hall Of Fame: Class Of 2014 includes 22 tracks containing over four and a half hours of top shelf Umphrey’s and is available now for pre-order in a variety of formats.

Those who pre-order the release in any format will be invited to upload a photo of their “Hall Of Fame Moment” for inclusion in the fan-centric Hall Of Fame Wall Of Fame picture mosaic. Additional details and login credentials will be emailed as part of the receipt once you purchase the compilation. Digital delivery of Hall Of Fame: Class Of 2014 is expected to start on Friday, October 9. Those ordering vinyl should expect shipment in early November in addition to receiving the digital version on October 9.

Included within the release is the debut cover of Pixies’ “Where Is My Mind?” from UM’s 2,000th show, the 20+ minute “Onward & Upward” from UMBowl, an extended “#5” from Summer Camp, an insane “Blue Echo” from the band’s New Year’s run, a 36-minute encore of “Much Obliged” > “Mantis” and much more.
