Umphrey’s McGee Announces Early Summer 2017 Tour Dates

Road warriors Umphrey’s McGee have just announced the band’s initial batch of Summer 2017 tour dates. The band will mix headlining dates with festival appearances between May and July with the promise of additional tour dates to be announced soon.

Up first for the early Summer run is a show at The Norva in Norfolk, Virginia on May 18. The band teams up with Aqueous the next night in Baltimore and then plays sans opener at Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire on May 20. After their annual visit to Summer Camp, UM starts June with support from Marcus King Band at Augusta Common in Augusta, Georgia on the 1st. From there, the band brings the tour to Columbia, South Carolina on June 2 and West Virgina’s Mountain Music Festival on June 3. The next weekend Umphrey’s McGee returns to Bonnaroo and then ends June and starts July with a three-night stand at Red Rocks spanning June 30 – July 2. On July 7 the sextet visits Central Park Summerstage in New York City with “special guest to be announced” and then heads to Marshfield, Massachusetts for an appearance at Levitate Festival on July 8.

Pre-sale tickets will go up for grabs through Umphrey’s Ticketing starting Wednesday, March 8 at 12:00 p.m. ET with public on-sales set to begin Friday, March 10 at 12:00 p.m. ET.
