Umphrey’s McGee Announces 1st Round Of 2018 Summer Dates


Jam sextet Umphrey’s McGee have just announced the first five dates of their summer tour with the promise of more to come. In other UM news, guitarists Brendan Bayliss and Jake Cinninger have confirmed a special acoustic show in the city where the band was born.

Umphrey’s will present an opener-less “An Evening With” performance at Paper Mill Island Amphitheatre in Baldwinsville, New York on May 17. Then, the six-piece plays Providence on May 18 and Hampton Beach on May 19 featuring support from The Trongone Band. Umphrey’s also confirmed their returns to the House Of Blues in Boston on June 29 with BIG Something set to open and The Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park, New Jersey on June 30. More UM Summer ’18 dates will be revealed in the coming weeks.

An Umphrey’s Ticketing pre-sale will take place tomorrow (Wednesday, March 7) at 10 a.m. ET. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, March 9 at 10 a.m. ET.

South Bend’s own Brendan Bayliss and Jake Cinninger will perform at The Morris Performing Arts Center in the Indiana city on Tuesday, April 24. Joel Cummins is aboard as a special guest for the acoustic show. A pre-sale begins tomorrow (Wednesday, March 7) at 12 p.m. ET and will be followed by the public on-sale on Thursday, March 8 at 10 a.m. ET via the venue’s website.
