Yesterday the number one ranked University of Georgia took on the University of South Carolina in an SEC battle at the 92,746-seat Sanford Stadium in Athens, Georgia. While the Bulldogs defeated the Gamecocks 24-10, but the real story of the day as far as we were concerned happened at halftime, as the UGA Redcoat Marching paid tribute to Georgia icon and Allman Brothers Band founding member Gregg Allman, who passed away earlier this year.
The Redcoats, who featured over 400 male and female students, offered a medley of ABB classics during their halftime shows as they ran through pieces of “Ramblin’ Man,” “Whipping Post,” “Midnight Rider” and “Black Hearted Woman.”
