Watch Lady Gaga Join U2 For Breathtaking ‘All I Want Is You’ Duet At Las Vegas Sphere

U2 welcomed Lady Gaga for a guest appearance last night during the latest show of their residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas. The iconic musician teamed with the Irish rockers for three songs in the middle of Wednesday’s concert.

The 37-year-old musician’s appearance came at the start of the “Turntable” portion of the U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere show that breaks up performances of songs from the band’s 1991 album. “I tried to write [this next song] from a woman’s point of view, sing it from a woman’s point of view — as ridiculous and as absurd as that sounds,” frontman Bono told the crowd of “All I Want Is You,” the final track of 1988’s Rattle & Hum. “I’ve sang it to women but I’ve never sung it with a woman. I’m gonna do just that tonight, we are. Not just any woman — … the most audacious, vivacious woman in any room she’s ever in,” the singer continued. “Would you welcome to our turntable, the divine, the divinyl, Lady Gaga.”

Lady Gaga emerged and traded verses with Bono on a tender version of “All I Want Is You” backed by his U2 bandmates guitarist The Edge, bassist Adam Clayton and drummer Bram van den Berg filling in for Larry Mullen Jr. “All I Want Is You” faded into Lady Gaga’s “Shallow” from her hit 2018 film A Star Is Born. Bono capably sung Bradley Cooper’s part of the song written by Lady Gaga, Andrew Wyatt, Anthony Rossomando and Mark Ronson.

“What did you guys think?” Gaga asked the crowd to huge applause. Bono joked Lady Gaga was in the desert when she ran into U2. The guest appearance concluded with a stunning duet on The Joshua Tree single “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.” U2 went on to conclude the show in similar fashion as other U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere concerts.
