By Scott Bernstein Sep 29, 2015 • 8:00 am PDT
On Monday night U2 brought the iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Tour to the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, where they dusted off one of their earliest hits for the first time in over four years as part of a 25-song performance.
Bono & Co. busted out “New Year’s Day” towards the middle of last night’s show. “New Year’s Day” had been on the shelf since July 9, 2011. U2 originally recorded the song for inclusion on the 1983 album War and it served as the LP’s lead single.
