U2 Appears On ‘The Tonight Show’

Last night’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon featured an appearance by U2. The Irish rockers performed a pair of songs and Bono and The Edge were interviewed by the show’s host.
The Joshua Tree song “Bullet The Blue Sky” was played during Thursday’s program. The band has been touring in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the acclaimed record, and last evening Bono introduced altered lyrics that referenced current topics such as WMDs, the U.S. President and tweeting (the band posted the new lyrics on their website).
