By Andy Kahn Mar 9, 2017 • 10:28 am PST

Irish rockers U2 have detailed a 30th anniversary edition of their fifth studio album The Joshua Tree. Interscope Records will reissue the album in various formats on June 2.
Produced by Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois, The Joshua was initially released on March 9, 1987. Among its 11 tracks are the well-known singles “With Or Without You,” “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” and “Where The Streets Have No Name.” The record was a No. 1 hit in the United States and United Kingdom and won the Grammy Award for Album Of The Year.
The super deluxe The Joshua Tree collector’s edition comes with:
A live recording of The Joshua Tree Tour 1987 Madison Square Garden concert; rarities and B-sides from the album’s original recording sessions; as well as 2017 remixes from Daniel Lanois, St Francis Hotel, Jacknife Lee, Steve Lillywhite and Flood; plus an 84-page hardback book of unseen personal photography shot by The Edge during the original Mojave Desert photo session in 1986.
U2 heads out on The Joshua Tree Tour on May 12. The band will perform across North America and Europe throughout 2017, including their debut appearance at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in June. Head here to pre-order The Joshua Tree 30th Anniversary Edition.
