Tyler, The Creator Shares ‘You’re A Mean One’ From ‘The Grinch Soundtrack’

Tyler, the Creator recorded a version of “You’re A Mean One” for the upcoming animated Doctor Seuss’ The Grinch remake. The CGI updated holiday film starring the voices of Benedict Cumberbatch, Rashida Jones and Pharrell comes out on November 9.

Dr. Seuss composed “You’re A Mean One” for the original 1966 cartoon film version of the book How the Grinch Stole Christmas! that Seuss issued in 1957. Thurl Ravenscroft sang the 1966 version that appeared in the cartoon. In addition to “You’re A Mean One,” the upcoming film soundtrack also features Tyler, the Creator’s original “I Am the Grinch.” Check out his take on the classic below:
