Members of Tyler Childers’ road crew saved three puppies from euthanasia last week. The organization One Tail at a Time brought the pups from a West Texas shelter to Tyler Childers’ concert at Chicago’s United Center on Thursday where they were adopted.

One Tail at a Time — a Chicago-based organization doing the important work of saving animals — took to social media to tell the heart-melting story. Read below:

Just one week ago three little puppies entered a West Texas shelter and were put on the euthanasia list due to lack of space and slow adoptions. Thanks to our sister organization One Tail at a Time West Texas doing everything they could, and our awesome foster dad Kevin, the puppies made it out of the shelter and onto a transport to Chicago.

Last night the puppies were invited to the Tyler Childers and show at the United Center by our friends at Live Nation Concerts. Their goal was to give the hard working road crew a little bit of levity and love.

We certainly did that, but what we didn’t expect was all three puppies being adopted by members of Tyler’s road crew! Congrats to Tyler and Larry, Kyle and Cheryl, and Suzanne and Ted. We couldn’t be happier for these little road dogs!

It truly takes a village to change their lives!
