Ty Segall Incorporates Grateful Dead Songs Into ‘Feel’ In Pittsburgh

Last night Ty Segall performed a concert at The Funhouse at Mr. Small’s in Pittsburgh. The show featured a rendition of “Feel” that saw the guitarist lead his band into a jam that incorporated a pair of Grateful Dead classics.
Segall and his band featuring Mikal Cronin took the ending of “Feel” from the 2014 Manipulator to its normally intense climax before the melody of “Fire On The Mountain” emerged from the noisy wall of sound. Segall then sang the “Roll away the dew” chorus from the Dead’s “Franklin’s Tower” before transitioning to the “Fire” refrain.
