Vermont jam act Twiddle kicked off a three-night stand at The Warehouse FTC in Fairfield, Connecticut on Thursday night. Twiddle was joined by special guest guitarist Tim Palmieri of Kung Fu and The Breakfast for a portion of the show.
Palmieri, a Connecticut resident, has sat-in with Twiddle a number of times over the past few years. Tim also contributed to the studio version of “Milk” found on the Vermont quartet’s recent PLUMP LP. On Thursday, the guitarist added to a version of “Milk” that closed out Twiddle’s second set as well as the encore, a cover of The Beatles’ “Rocky Raccoon.” Last night’s show also featured such fan favorites as “Amydst The Mist,” “Jamflowman” and “Doinkinboink” along with rarer material including “Invisible Ink,” “Drifter” and a cover of The Proclaimers’ “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles.”
Twiddle returns to the Fairfield venue on Friday night.
