Twiddle spent the weekend performing at the Higher Ground Drive-In Experience in Essex Junction, Vermont. On Saturday, the band was joined by guitarist Brandon “Taz” Niederauer for guest spots during both sets as well as a cover of Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb” that closed out the night.

The quartet opened Saturday’s drive-in style concert in their home state by working “Bronze Fingers” within “Zazu’s Flight.” A standalone “The Machine” followed before Twiddle jammed “Apples” into a cover of Mason Williams’ “Classical Gas” and back again. Niederauer then made his first appearance of the night to augment Twiddle on “Every Soul” to end the frame.

Saturday’s second set was a seamless affair bookended by “Dr. Remidi’s Melodium.” Twiddle segued from the first portion of the song into “River Drift” and then took “Nicodeum Portulay” deep. Taz returned for a “Tom’s Song” that gave way to the conclusion of “Dr. Remidi’s Melodium.” Niederauer emerged with the band and handled lead vocals and added soaring guitar to the “Comfortably Numb” encore.
