Turkuaz shared a cover of The Beatles‘ “Here Comes The Sun.” The video clip comes from the Brooklyn-based funk outfit’s recent Beatles livestream set.

The band’s look at “Here Comes The Sun” fittingly follows their take on The Beatles’ “Rain.” Turkuaz guitarist and co-founder Dave Brandwein spoke about the significance of the George Harrison-penned Abbey Road standout, especially in troubled times.

The important thing to realize is that out of “a long cold lonely winter,” the ice does slowly melt as the sun sets in. This is true with each new day, each new year and each new struggle. “The ultimate desire here, however,” the statement continued, “is that the sun will shine and that better days are coming.”
