Turkuaz Extends 2017 Fall Tour

Powerhouse funk outfit Turkuaz has added a bevy of dates to their upcoming fall tour. The band now has just short of 50 dates on the books on both coasts and many cities in between. Con Brio, Sinkane, The Suffers and Pimps Of Joytime have been picked by Turkuaz to open select dates.

Turkuaz kicks off the tour with a West Coast run that starts in Arcata on September 12 and includes stops in Ashland, Chico, Santa Cruz, San Francisco, Templeton, Missoula, Spokane, Seattle, Portland and Bend. From there, the Brooklyn-based band hits Salt Lake City, Aspen, Boulder and Denver to end September.

October starts for Turkuaz with shows in Phoenix, Solana Beach, Los Angeles and Las Vegas as well as an appearance at the Joshua Tree Music Festival on the 7th. Turkuaz returns to the road in Charlottesville on October 18 and then plays Richmond, Raleigh and Black Mountain ahead of an appearance at Hangtown. Next up for Turkuaz is a Northeast run featuring visits to Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Providence, Portland, Buffalo, Stracuse, Northampton and Woodstock as well as a hometown show at Brooklyn Steel on November 11.

Turkuaz visits the Midwest starting in late November with stops in Minneapolis, Madison, Chicago, Covington and Morgantown. A trip to the Southeast includes visits to Charleston, Atlanta and Nashville. The tour is currently slated to end in Indianapolis on December 9 ahead of a New Year’s Run featuring performances in Boston on December 29th and New Haven on December 30th with a New Year’s Eve show set to be announced soon.
