Turkuaz Announces Winter & Spring 2017 Dates

Brooklyn funk outfit Turkuaz had a big year in 2016 and will be back at it in 2017. Today, the “powerfunk” band has detailed its first batch of tour dates for the new year with shows scheduled in both winter and spring.

Turkuaz will start the year with an appearance on Jam Cruise 15. The band then hits the road in earnest throughout the month of March starting with a performance at The State Room in Salt Lake City on March 2. Next up is a visit to the Beauty Bar in Las Vegas on March 3 and a set at the McDowell Mountain Music Festival in Phoenix on March 4.

From there, Turkuaz plays a series of shows in Colorado including stops in Steamboat Springs, Frisco, Durango and Telluride ahead of performances in Santa Fe and Taos, New Mexico. The run continues with a Midwest swing including stops in Davenport, Urbana, Columbus, Kalamazoo and Morgantown. Turkuaz then heads to Ithaca, Lancaster and Stroudsburg to end the tour. April finds the group performing at Euphoria and Wanee ahead of two nights opening for moe. at New Orleans’ Civic Theatre on April 28 and 29.
