In the tradition ’70s FM radio, JamBase’s new Tuesday tradition offers readers a pair of fab tunes from an artist worthy of the Double Shot treatment.

While we’ve mostly gone with established, beloved classics in this segment, this week we turn it over to an emerging hard blues rock gem, The Steepwater Band. This Illinois-based power trio are rough ‘n’ ready rock, and here’s a couple examples of them at their tough nosed best. If classic rock radio wasn’t so hung up on name brands they’d realize they have a fine new addition that can hold their own with the endless repeats of The Who, Cream, Zep, etc.
