Last night’s episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert featured musical guest Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews. The New Orleans native performed a song from his latest album, Parking Lot Symphony.

Accompanied by The Late Show house band leader and fellow NOLA native Jon Batiste on organ, as well as Orleans Avenue, Trombone Shorty performed “Here Come The Girls.” The Allen Toussaint-penned song is one of 12 making up Parking Lot Symphony. Released in April, it was Trombone Shorty’s fourth album and marked his debut on Blue Note Records.
