Trigger Hippy will release a new album entitled Full Circle & Then Some on October 11 via Turkey Grass Records/Thirty Tigers. The quartet unveiled the LP’s first single, “Don’t Wanna Bring You Down.”

Founding members drummer Steve Gorman and bassist Nick Govrik are joined in the latest Trigger Hippy lineup by guitarist/vocalist Ed Jurdi (Band Of Heathens) and saxophonist/vocalist Amber Woodhouse (Luthi). The current incarnation of the band recently made their live debut at The Basement in Nashville and return to conclude their residency at the venue on August 4 and 18.

“This tune is us saying, ‘Come on in, check the place out, stay a while,'” Gorman told Rolling Stone about the LP’s first single. “It was one of the first tunes we put together for the album and it’s been sitting in the lead off position ever since. We all felt from the jump that it was a great introduction to where the album takes you.”
