Trey Anastasio announced a pair of orchestral shows. The Phish guitarist will perform with the Colorado Symphony at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Coloradp on June 7 before taking the stage with the Kansas City Symphony at Kansas City’s Helzberg Hall at Kauffman Center on June 10.
Anastasio’s past symphonic concerts have seen him perform material from throughout his illustrious career, spanning multiple projects. The guitarist revisited the format in June 2024 during concerts held at Virginia’s Wolf Trap and Massachusetts’ Tanglewood, marking his first orchestral concerts since 2017.
While Trey Anastasio has a long history of performing at Red Rocks, he’s never performed with a symphony at the idyllic Colorado venue. Phish made their Red Rocks debut on August 20, 1993, and went on to play 12 additional concerts at the natural amphitheater through 2009. Anastasio’s last visit was a Trey Anastasio Band show in 2022.
