The whole tour has been announced.
This past March, Phish guitarist/vocalist Trey Anastasio did something he’s never done over the course of his 30+ years as a performer – he played a full show in the solo acoustic format. Anastasio actually played three solo acoustic shows in March and apparently he had a good time, since he’ll bring the format back this winter.
The News Journal reports Trey will play The Grand in Wilmington, Delaware on February 13, 2018. According to the paper, Anastasio hasn’t performed in Delaware since April 18, 1994 – a span of 8,253 days. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, December 1 at 10 a.m. ET in person at the box office, via thegrandwilmington.org or by calling 302-652-5577.
With only 1,200 seats, tickets are expected to go fast. “It feels like a really big show,” Stephen Bailey, managing director of programming at The Grand, told The News Journal. “My feeling is that everybody and their brother is going to be calling in every possible favor when tickets get tight.”
Trey played a total of 65 different songs over the course of the March run.
