Divided Sky Foundation Launches Trey Anastasio-Played Languedoc Guitar Giveaway Contest

The Divided Sky Foundation launched a contest for a custom Languedoc guitar played and signed by Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio. The 2011 Languedoc G2 model was donated by luthier Paul Languedoc, who has been the sole owner of the instrument.

Trey played the Languedoc guitar during soundcheck of Phish’s October 27, 2024, concert in Albany, New York, that was a benefit for the Divided Sky Foundation. Contest entries to win the guitar are open now through Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. PT. The winner will be announced on Friday, January 9 at 8 a.m. PT.

Anastasio teamed with his former drug court officer, Melanie Gulde, to establish the Divided Sky Foundation as a resource for affordable alternative addiction recovery services. The Divided Sky Foundation’s Residential Recovery Program in Ludlow, Vermont has provided support to hundreds of people since opening in November 2023.

Anastasio will celebrate the fifth anniversary of his “Beacon Jams” livestreams with a three-night run at the Beacon Theatre in New York City, November 28 – 30. Proceeds from the concerts will benefit the Divided Sky Foundation. Funds raised from Anastasio’s original “Beacon Jams” livestreams, which ran for eight consecutive Fridays in Fall 2020 during the height of the pandemic, supported the establishment of the Divided Sky Foundation.
