Asher’s Chocolate Preps Sweet Treat For Trey Anastasio Band & Goose Tour

The deal has been sweetened for fans attending Trey Anastasio Band and Goose's joint tour dates this November. 130-year-old family-owned-and-operated business Asher’s Chocolate Co. has created a milk chocolate peanut bar that will be available exclusively for purchase at each show in limited quantities.

A video announcing the eight tour dates was a parody of a classic Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups commercial. In the clip, Trey Anastasio Band frontman Trey Anastasio holds a chocolate bar and runs into Goose guitarist Rick Mitarotonda with a jar of peanut butter. Trey’s chocolate bar winds up in Rick’s peanut butter jar leading to the discovery of two great tastes that taste great together.

“Two great bands that sound great together,” notes a voiceover. “Trey Anastasio Band — real milky jams, signature delicious music — and Goose’s crunchy, funky butter sound topped with chopped peanuts.” Goose multi-instrumentalist Peter Anspach displays the Trey Anastasio Band x Goose Fall Tour 2022 candy bar towards the end of the video.
