Watch Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross Cover David Bowie’s ‘Fantastic Voyage’ & ‘Fashion’

Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross covered David Bowie’s “Fantastic Voyage” and “Fashion.” The performance was part of the “A Bowie Celebration: Just For One Day” livestream concert held last Saturday, January 9.

Joining Ross and Reznor was their How to Destroy Angels band mate, vocalist (and Reznor’s wife) Mariqueen Maandig. Also participating was longtime Bowie collaborator, pianist Mike Garson.

“A Bowie Celebration: Just For One Day” was originally scheduled to coincide with what would have been Bowie’s birthday on Friday, January 8 but was moved due to COVID-19 restrictions. Yesterday (Sunday, January 10) marked the anniversary of Bowie’s death in 2016 at age 69. Other performers included Billy Corgan, Boy George, Adam Lambert and Duran Duran.

Bowie recorded “Fantastic Voyage” as the lead track for his 1979 album Lodger. “Fashion” appeared on Bowie’s 1980 album Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps). Watch Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross’ “A Bowie Celebration: Just For One Day” performance below:
