Trampled by Turtles Share ‘Whiskey’ Quarantine Video
Trampled By Turtles unveiled a quarantine video featuring the six members of the band performing “Whiskey.” The song was originally released by TBT as the third track on their 2004 debut studio album, Songs From A Ghost Town.
“‘Whiskey’ is from our very first record, Songs From A Ghost Town,” starts a note by Trampled by Turtles accompanying the video, which features contributions from each members recorded in isolation due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. “Thanks to all who have been listening all these years and hello to any new Friends who have stopped by. Until we can all meet again at a show, hope you enjoy some more tunes live from Quarantine. Stay safe everyone.”
The sextet’s version of “Whiskey” is the third quarantine video shared by Trampled by Turtles following “We All Get Lonely” and “Winners.” The video’s producer, Dave Carroll plays banjo on “Whiskey,” while Tim Saxhaug is featured on bass, Erik Berry strums mandolin, Dave Simonett provides lead vocals and guitar, Ryan Young adds fiddle and Eamonn McLain spends the first half of the song eating bananas before performing on cello.
