Chicago-based sextet Umphrey’s McGee have just announced they will team with funk revivialists Lettuce for a series of four East Coast shows this summer. The four dates follow the two acts first pairing which takes place at The Fort in Florida this April.

The run begins at Blue Hills Bank Pavilion in Boston on July 16. From there, the bands head to The Stone Pony Summerstage in Asbury Park on July 17 and River Stage on Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia on July 18 before bringing the quick jaunt to a close at Pier Six in Baltimore on July 19.

Today’s announcement comes after keyboardist Joel Cummins warned fans Umphrey’s McGee will only play a handful of shows between Labor Day and the end of 2015. He further clarified that the band has “between 14-17 shows (scheduled) between Labor Day & NYE depending on how things shake out.”

Cummins also revealed, “for the four Summer dates just announced you can expect UM’s headlining set to be at least 2:15, Lettuce will play from 60-75 mins each night.” A pre-sale will begin Wednesday at noon ET via Umphrey’s Ticketing followed by Saturday’s general on-sales at noon ET.
