UPDATE 8/22 10:10 a.m. PT: After the first show at the Beacon sold out, Tame Impala have added a second show at the NYC venue. Tickets for the November 10th performance are on sale now.

Australian psych-rockers Tame Impala have announced a fall tour that includes four stops in the U.S. in addition to a handful of South American dates.

The tour kicks off on November 9 at NYC’s Beacon Theatre and continues at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on November 12, the Las Vegas outpost of Brooklyn Bowl on November 13 and at Oakland’s Fox Theater on November 15 before Tame Impala heads to South America. Delicate Steve has been tapped to open the U.S. dates.

In other Tame Impala news, Consequence Of Sound reports that the band has been accused of plagiarizing the Lonerism track “Feels Like We Only Go Backwards” from Argentinian pop star Pablo Ruiz’s 1989 song “Oceano” by a Chilean news site. You can be the judge by comparing both songs:
